Information kept on your device
Saved experience identifiers, your unfinished Match progress and a short Surprise Me history are stored in your browser. They help favourites survive a refresh, restore the Match and reduce repeated surprise suggestions. This information is not placed in shared links and can be removed through your browser’s site-data controls.
Email signups and waitlists
When you join field notes or a guide waitlist, we receive your email address, consent time and the signup source. We may also keep the page, content identifier, language and campaign labels attached to the visit so we can honour the request and understand which signup invited it. A consent version and basic lead event are recorded so the choice can be demonstrated.
Unsubscribe requests are kept on a suppression list so an address is not added again against that choice. A short-lived, hashed abuse-prevention identifier may be used to limit repeated automated submissions; raw IP addresses are not intentionally attached to the subscriber record.
Editorial emails are delivered by Hostinger email delivery, which processes the information needed to send and manage those messages under its own service terms.
Contact messages
The contact form collects your name, email, selected subject, message and consent time so the editorial team can review and respond. Please do not submit passport, payment, medical or other sensitive documents.
Digital guide
No paid guide sale is currently active, so Unseen Emirates is not collecting purchase or payment information through this site.
Analytics
The configured analytics services, Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager, receive limited site events only after you allow analytics. Email addresses, contact messages and private Match answers are excluded from those event properties. You can withdraw analytics consent through Manage cookie preferences.
Retention and deletion
Browser data remains until you clear it. Signup, suppression, contact and any future purchase records are kept only for as long as needed to provide the requested service, respect unsubscribe choices, meet applicable obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. You may ask for access, correction or deletion through Contact. Some records may need to be retained where law, fraud prevention or an unresolved transaction requires it.
Who is responsible
Unseen Emirates is responsible for information collected directly through this platform. Service providers process information only for the function for which they are enabled. This policy will be updated before a new provider begins collecting visitor information.
